The International Annual Meetings will be held primarily at the Tampa Convention Center and the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel in Tampa, Florida.

Travel

Tampa is accessible by air, rail, and automobile. The Tampa International Airport is seven miles west of downtown Tampa. Amtrak offers rail service to Tampa from virtually anywhere on the continent.

Conference parking

Parking is available at the Tampa Convention Center at $5 per day. Additional parking is available throughout the downtown area.

Ground Transportation

The Tampa International Airport is seven miles west of downtown Tampa. The airport is is divided into two sides, Red and Blue, and each side is split up into two quadrants.

Super Shuttle is Tampa International Airport's only authorized shared-ride shuttle service. Passengers may make a reservation in advance online, by phone at 800-282-6817 toll-free long distance) or 727-527-1111 (local), or in person when you arrive at the airport. Using the Societies’ discount code F8YQ6 will provide a one-way ticket for $11. There is a Supper Shuttle Service desk in each quadrant of the airport.

Taxi Information: The Tampa International Airport is served by Yellow Cab and United Cab (contact info below). Both companies charge the same fares. There is a flat rate fee of $25 to downtown Tampa. For all other destinations, $2 plus $2.25 per mile with a minimum fee from the airport of $15. Once the meter exceeds the $15, the minimum no longer applies.

Getting Around Tampa

Public Transportation

In Town Trolley, a rubber-tired trolley, and the TECO Line Streetcar System connect downtown hotels to the Tampa Convention Center and numerous local attractions. The In Town Trolley operates limited hours on weekdays with service every 15 minutes at $0.25 per ride. The TECO Line Streetcar System operates seven days a week with a one-way fare of $2.50. Unlimited Rides passes are available at discounted prices.

In Town Trolley, service every 15 minutes:
Monday-Friday, 6am-9am & 4pm-6pm

TECO Line Streetcar System:
Monday-Thursday, 11am-10pm: service every 15-20 minutes
Friday-Saturday, 11am-1am and 1am-2am: service every 30 minutes
Sunday, 12pm-8pm: service every 15-20 minutes

Taxi Service. Taxi service is available at the nearest hotel or by contacting a taxi company directly.
