Honorees stretch back over our fifty-year history, from Dr. M. G. Bekker (1961), Dr. A. R. Reece (1965), and Dr. Walter Söhne (1969) to recent celebrants such as Professor Ray Arvidson (2011) of the Earth and Planetary Remote Sensing Laboratory (http://istvs.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=a89f961e4b8d7f56705e0fc91&id=802110d1a3&e=77af6e2607) at Washington University in St. Louis and Dr. Junya Yamakawa (2005), Associate Professor, Director of Engineering, National Defense Academy, Japan (now also ISTVS Deputy General Secretary for Asia-Pacific).
