ISTVS conferences form an amazing legacy since our first meeting in 1962 in Turin, Italy — International Society for Terrain-Vehicle Systems today is a connected group of collaborative professionals from industry, universities, and research institutions who have been meeting over six decades to share research findings.
Importantly, we are returning to a face-to-face meeting format to foster exchanges on terrain vehicles research in our global community. After an outage imposed by the COVID pandemic, the ISTVS this year is holding its first in-person gathering, in the form of a symposium staged outside the usual rhythm of our regional and international meetings.
The ISTVS 2022 Americas Symposium will provide you a place where you can exchange ideas and receive technical information on current and future research and technology developments in terramechanics and terrain/road-vehicle system dynamics, control, design, autonomous vehicle systems and Industry 4.0.
Topics | For the symposium, we are soliciting papers and posters related to the following topics:
Utility vehicles for terrain mobility
Military vehicles
Construction, forestry, and mining equipment
Farm tractors and machinery
Unmanned ground vehicles for the military and for space exploration
Autonomous driving systems
Location | The symposium will take place in downtown Montréal, Québec, Canada, at the McGill University Faculty Club. 400 USD, includes breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks for two days, October 6 and 7, and networking events on October 5 and 6. Full location and reservation information to be announced.
