The Role

Develop test cases for vehicle testing based on system requirements and own tester expertise (e.g. error guessing). Integrate basic systems and systems into test vehicles and carry out system verification testing. Support vehicle testing of customers and other WABCO functions.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop system test procedures for vehicle testing
• Analyse system requirements and specify appropriate test cases for verification
• Develop test cases based on own expertise to find potential unspecified system malfunctions
• Integrate and set-up test systems/components in test vehicles
• Carry out vehicle tests according to test plan and specification
• Assess system performance from a customer/driver like viewpoint
• Evaluate and document test results
• Carry out vehicle tests together with customers (workshops, winter tests etc.)
• Secure safe vehicle testing procedures
• Estimate effort and meet delivery schedules and quality

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Engineering, preferably in vehicle function development or field engineering

PROFILE:

• Degree in Engineering
• Good knowledge in vehicle technology and vehicle dynamics
• Capable of test driving (CV driver’s license, qualified test driver)
• Good knowledge about WABCO products and system functions
• Good knowledge in instrumentation and data acquisition systems
• English communication Wabco
