We are pleased to announce that the 16th European-African Regional Conference of the ISTVS will be held in late 2023 in Lublin, Poland, and chaired by Prof. Jarosław Pytka from the Lublin University of Technology.
As Deputy General Secretary for Europe-Africa, I would especially like to encourage regional secretaries and members in the Europe-Africa region to not only participate in the conference, but also to get involved in the organization of the event. If you would like to help in any way, please let us know. We’ll reach out to members requesting help with specific task, such as reviews of papers, throughout the year.
Please also participate in the ISTVS Digital Event Series that will start again early in 2023. This is an ideal platform for both students and established researchers to get involved with the Society and our International pool of researchers in an informal on-line event. To get a taste of what’s to come, take a look at our past offerings from 2022.
Recordings of past events are also available on the Society’s YouTube channel and contains very valuable material for the community. I especially ask academic staff to reach out to your students and encourage them to use these amazing free learning opportunities.
