During this session I will detail the rich history of our organization, our modernization program, and how we are fit for purpose as a modern membership organization of the future.
Membership organizations needed to modernize to deliver relevance in response to the changing needs of members through the internet age. Covid hit mission-based organizations hard but also presented opportunity to pivot and re-present themselves—the international connected community of FISITA has emerged as a highly relevant technology of mobility community for the post-covid era.
Chris Mason joined FISITA as CEO in 2014. Overseeing the extensive modernization of FISITA, he has led its transformation into a leading platform for global knowledge exchange and collaboration across the automotive and mobility systems industry. Chris has repositioned the organization as the FISITA International Connected Community, enabling a new era of digital member engagement.
A Fellow and member of the board of the Institute of the Motor Industry in the United Kingdom, Chris is a recognized expert within the international automotive and mobility systems area and welcomes invitations to contribute to international discussions and thought leadership on the continued transition of the automotive and mobility industry.
